General

Why book with Davema?

We are a Kampala-based travel company that handles flights, hotels, tours, visas and ground logistics under one roof. You get a named consultant, honest advice and a written plan you can trust.

Can we customise a package?

Absolutely. Every itinerary on this site is a starting point. We tailor dates, pace, accommodation and activities to your budget and travel style.

Do you offer international packages?

Yes. Alongside Uganda and East Africa we arrange leisure holidays, honeymoons, business travel and group journeys to destinations across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Asia, the Indian Ocean and beyond.

How early should we book?

For Uganda and regional trips, 2–6 weeks ahead is usually comfortable — gorilla permits and popular lodges can need longer. For international holidays, 1–3 months ahead gives you the best choice and fares.

Planning

Where do you recommend for a honeymoon?

Our most-requested honeymoon destinations include the Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Zanzibar, Bali, Santorini and Dubai — and for something wilder, a Uganda safari paired with a beach in Zanzibar or Kenya’s coast.

How much does a private tour cost?

It depends on destination, season, group size, accommodation level and activities. We send a personalised quotation after a short conversation about your plans — there is no obligation.

What should I bring on my trip?

A valid passport (with at least six months’ validity for most international travel), your confirmed documents, travel insurance, comfortable clothing for the climate, any personal medication, and vaccination records where required. We send a destination-specific checklist with your confirmation.

Payments

How will I receive payment confirmation?

Once a payment is received you’ll get an official receipt and booking confirmation by email or WhatsApp.

Do I need to print my confirmation?

A digital copy is usually enough, but we recommend carrying a printed copy as a backup — particularly for national-park permits and lodge check-ins.

Uganda

Do I need a visa for Uganda?

Most visitors need a visa, which can be applied for online as an e-visa before travelling. Requirements depend on your nationality, so please check our visa guide in the Travel Journal and speak to our team to confirm for your passport.
